At the end of the day when I’m tired and about to lay my head on the pillow is when I tend to be susceptible to discouragement and things bothering me and weighing me down. One of my favorite verses to address this is Lamentations 3:21-25:
This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. The LORD’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Thy faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion, says my soul, “Therefore I have hope in Him.” The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the person who seeks Him.
It’s good to pray these verses at night before going to sleep and also in the morning when starting your day. God is faithful to His creation, particularly to those who know Him as Daddy Abba Father. Be encouraged!
